What is FORMA?
FORMA is a non-invasive skin tightening technology that treats and prevents sagging skin. Using radiofrequency energy, FORMA heats the deeper skin layers to stimulate collagen production, to lift, tighten and smooth out the skin in the face, jawline and neck.
What areas can be treated?
FORMA can be used to treat the face, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, marionettes, jawline and neck.
When will I see my results?
You may experience an immediate skin tightening sensation after your treatment that will give you glowing skin for a few days. That’s why our FORMA Hollywood Facial is perfect right before an event! As you continue with your regular treatments, you will begin to see longer-lasting results including skin tightening and increased firmness.
How do I know if FORMA is right for me?
FORMA is safe for all skin types and skin tones. Forma is appropriate for individuals seeking a non-invasive and natural-looking approach to achieve a younger appearance without surgery, scars, or downtime.
It is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a history of skin cancer, or if you have a pacemaker/defibrillator. You cannot undergo a FORMA treatment while on Accutane and you must been off this medication for 6 months prior. You cannot have a fresh tan within the past 2 weeks prior to your FORMA session. If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend pre-treating with an antiviral medication. Please contact us for more information and to find out if this treatment is right for you.
Will I experience pain?
FORMA is a very comfortable treatment that feels like a relaxing warm-stone massage. Treatment time ranges from 60-90 minutes. You may experience slight redness in the treatment area which is common post-procedure and typically subsides within a few hours.
How many sessions are recommended?
It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Scheduling will be determined in your consultation with our aestheticians.
Can FORMA be used in combination with other treatments?
Yes! Forma can be used in combination with most other laser treatments, facials, injectables and/or filler. We recommend waiting 2 or more weeks after injectables to have the FORMA treatment.
